Default Can this work?

Does a supercharger from a 99 lightning mount and bolt right on to a 01 GT?

I understand that the lightning is a 5.4 and the stang is a 4.6 but the guy I got the supercharger from tells me it bolts right on.

If not what do I have to do to make it happen? if possible.

Thank you in advance.

It won't wont directly bolt up. The 5.4 engine is slightly wider then the 4.6. There is a company that makes adapter plates if you really want to do it though. But your gonna need to cut a big whole in your hood. I know becuase a guy at work has a crown vic and bought a complete 5.4 lighting engine and was going to just swap the intake and supercharger just like you.

like they said its not worth the hassle/power gains of swapping the eaton from the lightning... buy something already made for your car, when it comes to performance there is no cheap way out or it would have been done to thousands of other stangs already, you get what you pay for.

I got the supercharger for $600. I know that a new one is way more expensive. So I figured it was a good buy. I would like to mount it if possible. This is why I am here looking for info.

Can anyone tell me who to contact for the part to make it fit?

Forget about trying to make the stock Eaton(or as we call them "Heat"-ens). There not efficient by any means and are pullied from the factory to create a mild 6lbs of boost. Sure you can kick them up a bit, but they are so unefficient and create so much heat, they are a waste of time. A centrifugal s/c'er is a better bet. They are less expensive than the Twin screw(look like roots style/eatons but are soooo much better). You can get a complete centri kit for your car and it's a straight up bolt-on kit for around $2k. The extra expenses to make the eatons work makes it the least cost effective route you can take.
