Default hi flow cats

ive cut off two of my cats from my stock h pipe but was wondering if i cut off my other four and put 2 hi flow cats on if it will make my flow 44's that much louder?

You won't notice a HUGE difference in noise, but the flow will definitely improve. They'll sound about as close to straight pipes as you can get them.
Might also depend on the brand of HFC you purchase.

dang not the answers i was lookin for. my parents wont let me get an o/r x or h so hi flow cats is as close as i can get and i cant afford headers right now. ive tried cut outs and they soud like crap so hi flows were kinda my last hope for now

Just get a high flow midpipe. It will have 2.5" piping and high flows. It will be a good bit louder than stock.

what if i keep my stock midpipe and put high flows on? does that .25 of an inch make that much of a sound difference?

i was thinking magnaflow or pypes by the way for just hi flow welded on to stock h

Trading your 44s for some 40s and getting an o/r midpipe is another option. Gobs of power for the buck, IMO. Settle for a quieter muffler and the midpipe will bring the sound a more power.
