Default Whats needed?

hi,
had a quick question about supercharging a gt.. pref an 01-04... i just sold my grand prix to buy one and now that i test drove one i really would like more power so i am looking into supercharging it... first what kit is the most bang for the buck?.. second with that kit what else is needed for the car to preform at the level it should be.. what parts and peices are needed extra also?... thanks

before we get into debating superchargers get full exhaust (headers,midpipe, catback) and some gears then ask this question later. there are too many choices and everyone wil battle what they think is the best so do a search for superchargers so we dont have to go through this again..... trust me you'l find a lot of info in search

procharger or vortech = best bang for buck.

depending on power..you may be able to run it stock, but 36 lb fuel injectors, a focus fuel pump, and like stated before, exhaust is good. Obviously, a tuner and a good custom tune will be neccesary as well. (Get an aftercooler)


dont get any higher than 3.73's for gears if you plan to s/c it.

vortec a-trim, they run you like 3500 to 4000 and they r easy to put on if you have a weekend and some patience, and they sound narsty. i would run a intercooler or some kind of boost cooler so it does not cause detination.
