Smile To become a N/A 12 sec stang .....

With the mods in my sig what else will I need to get into the 12's while staying Non Aspirated.. I'll take a 12.99999. I am going to the track in about three weeks. With my mods what do you think my car would run if it's well driven?

With anything other than a street radial you should be in the 12's.

I'd say with traction and a good DA you should have it.

I will be getting a dyno tune in about two weeks is it worth it? I was also thinking about 410's. Since I'm staying N/A will the 4.10's be the way to go?

It is strongly recommended to get a dyno tune with new cams...which you have.

You basically just have to launch right and not miss a shift. Have you considered going with sticky rubber like M/Ts?

With some drag radials you should have it. You should make some decent power with the cams and tune. Some suspension work would make it that much easier. 4.10's would be better, but you can do it with your 3.73's.

You'll be in the 12s, if not very close. It's all in the launch. You have a bundle of mods in the intake/exhaust department so a tune is needed. It could yield ya another 10 hp across the rpm range. If you're getting the 4.10s, I'd wait till then before you do get the tune. The steeper the gear the more likely traction issues, especially with street radials...speaking from experience on that! Give yourself a baseline by seeing what you can do with what you have so far, then go for the gears and tune.

I think it'll be tougher than everyone else is saying.

But, hopefully you can go out and prove me wrong.

I went 13.6 with next to no power, but all of my tiem is in the launch, if you can come off the line hard then I could see it, but not w/o a hell of a launch.

i can see it happening. a bone stock PI GT should be hitting 13.8 with drag radials, if not lower. My car ran 14.0 and i was spinning the WHOLE way and really badly too.
with cams and a tune it should be really really close to a 12, add 3:73s and my money says you had better be able to pull off atleast a 12.999 on drag radials. not to mention the short shifter, K&N, etc. etc. little bolt ons you've got on.

You don't have any suspension mods listed. I would add some 4cyl fox springs, cut a coil from your rear stockers, get some lower control arms, and add some sticky rubber. Oh... and loose weight. Take out spare tire, jack, audio equipment if you have any. Temporarily taking out the unused seats can also be relatively easy. It all depends how close to the 12's you are, any amount of weight might be worth it.

Edit: this is a much better topic than saying, "how can I get to xxx hp."
