Default Upgrades

Ok to start I have a 96 gt. I have had the motor built with 2003 5.4 PI Heads, New Intake and 2003 Pistons. 10.5 to 1 compression. I dynoed at 260 hp 290 lbs trq at the wheels. I want to do upgrades. I am thinking of a 100 shot of nitrous. If it won't urt the motor. Also the plenum upgrade to a 75 mm tb and plenum. Cold Air intake and SCT Tuner. Pulleys by steeda. 90 MM MAF. Which or any combo of these should I do. Possibly even a Cross over pipe with no CATS. Any feed back would be helpful.

I really don't know what to say other than ask, what are 2003 pistons? How about breaking it down a little more. Do you have forged pistons? Explain your built motor starting at the crank and working your way up...............please.

The 100 shot won't hurt the motor, but I highly recommend getting a nitrous dyno tune and the proper safety equipment like WOT/window switches. NX makes a nice plate kit for our GTs. As for all your other bolt on upgrades sound good and I highly recommend LT headers, but you don't need a new MAF just yet.

If your using 03 pistons then you dont have 10.5 compression. You have no need to upgrade your MAF yet.

I appreciate the info. They are stock 03 Pistons. I do not want to use headers because they are hard to put on. lol. Every thing else is easy.

I have 4:10 gears already. Do you think a tuner and x pipe methanol with nitrous injection would get me to 380-400 hp.

forget what i said earlier then and i see you already have a tuner. probably not but ive seen crazier things happen. you should have gotten those heads ported while you were in the engine and got some bigger cams.
