Maybe Ill get bashed for this but oh well...
Just got my Mustang today and I'm thinking about turning it into a Cobra clone (maybe a terminator). It has a 32valve out of an 03 Cobra and I'm supercharged so technically, I have the power to back it up (443hp to be exact). The car also already has a Cobra R hood, 03 Cobra seats, T56 Cobra Tranny, Cobra wheels... I'm looking at changing just the front/rear bumpers and possibly the wing, if I decide to go terminator.

Anyone else out there done this conversion? I'm looking for any tips, pointers and advice...

Hood and bumper I can see, but that would be it. What else is done to the car? Gears, Long Tubes, etc? Photobucket and post pics!

anything different with the cobra interior other than seats? i know the steering wheel thing says "cobra" instead of having a horse

the instrument cluster is diff. for a cobra.

I have a very long list of mods, I just got the car today so Im still getting aquainted... It does have headers, H pipe with cats, magnaflow...

As far as the interior goes, just the seats have been swapped out, everything else is stock GT. Im starting to think that I should try to make it look like a 99 Cobra since the car is a 99. Plus, it would be cheaper since I wouldnt have to change the wing or mess with fog lights! It looks like I can get both the front and rear bumper for under $500 shipped, then I just gotta get them installed and painted.

I will post some pics on sunday, Im working all week!

Sounds like you found one hell of a car. You wont get bashed here until you badge it like a Cobra, and then try to convince us its a Cobra....other than that, i vote for the '03 bumpers.....they always were my favorite. i had a friend that switched bumpers, it wasnt hard to do...if i remember correctly, he just had to mod some existing holes/brackets, so it shouldnt be bad at all.

That is unless you put a rear spoiler on there that is supposed to be on the back of a airplane! lol j/k... You can do that to if you want! I wont bash you!
