Default Where are the places to lift the 4.6L out of a 1999 mustang gt?

I took my trans out of my 1999 Mustang Gt last friday, I know it will not go back in with my longtube headers on, so I have to take the passenger side header off. In order to do that I have to lift the engine a little bit to talk the header off. I have an engine puller and I was looking for places to hook it up. I can't them find anywhere. How do I hook the engine up to the lift? Thanks.

When I took my engine out, I used one of the alternator mounting holes just above the water pump and one of the top bell housing bolt holes. Some chain and large washers and you're set. It worked for me.

U just need to lift it up ennough to get the trans in?

If so you can use a floor jack and a 2x4 on the oil pan.

Dont go trying to lift the car that way but the oil pan will support the engines weight.

make sure you jack on the front edge of the pan. not the middle. it will dent in and make your crank hit and make a really nasty tapping noise. yes im a dumba**

Just go slow and look for any signs of damage.
