How to tell if car is earlier or later 2001
I am ordering underdrive pullies and they say that there is a earlier and a later version of the 2001 and the water pump pullies are different and i need to know how to tell before i order. i need help in a flash.

What's the build date on the side of the drivers door. Also look at water pump (middle) pullie. If it's an outward it's an early, if it's an inward then it's a later.

If it's an early 2001, I have a set of Steeda UDP's that I can sell you. I am getting a s/c and can't use them. They have been on my car for a week. PM if interested.

This post is making me go look at my car now to find out if it is an early or late model. Didnt know there was a dif. in the 01 but im gonna go find out. Unnecessary post I know.

I had trouble with my Steeda UPD's. I ordered for my 2002 GT and they sent parts that were supposed to fit. Apparently there was more than one size/style in 2002 and/or 2001. If I remember correctly, I sent one pully back (the crank pulley I think) and they sent me a 2001 pulley which worked on my 2002 GT?!?!?!?!?! I drove around for a while with only 2/3 of my pullies installed. Once I received the 3rd replacement pully, I installed it which required a new/different sized serp belt. Not much trouble. Worth the effort on a 2002 GT. Just order what you think you need and stare and compare once you get the parts b4 you start the project!
