Turbos are incredibly expensive in comparison to an entry level centri blower kit. The amount of custom work necessary is also a big factor. They have enormous power potential, but you pay to play.

That was the one I was actually going to get. What's wrong with it?

It's just small, It can get you to 375rwhp with ease if thats all the power you want. Thats what I'm running now but when I build a forged motor I'll upgrade to a D1 atleast.

Yes, I recently learned about that, apparently the Novi2000's are in a league of their own.

if you put a blower on your car it will not shorten you engines life span if it was driven normally, by that i mean driving around <2.5k rpm. if you drive the crap out of your car (high rpm blasts) w/ a blower it will shorten its life vs not blower due to increase stress on it. now if you were not going to drive it hard then whats the point of adding a blower? ive had no probs with my procharger that ive had since 2004, no leaks or other things. also a p1sc can be upgraded to a d1sc by just swapping the impeller if you decide that you need more power down the road. as for the engine, you could just get a forged short block from many places, i used a dss short block and just swap in your heads and their you go. you can get some good hp from a p1sc and i have no complaints from it.
