Ugh I thought I was going to actually get a good deal.

So I guess I should just get a $420 accufab combo...

Actually... I might have an aftermarket plenum.

Mine doesn't look like this:

It's rounded at the top.

I think it's this one but I'm not sure I'll check on my car tomorrow morning.

How do I tell if I have the stock TB?

If its rounded its C&L. Thats a great plenum. If you have a stock TB you have the runing pony. LOL I love those C&L intakes, perfect for an NX plate kit.

I'm learning more and more about this car...
It has some form of tune because it had no cats on it before it was traded in, the dealer welded cats on, then I had them cut off again. I have no check engine light so the sensors must be deleted.

I now found I have a plenum/tb, bbk intake, interesting exhaust setup (long dual pipes deleting cats bolted to an x pipe relatively far back, to flowmaster cat back)

My car has a mac sticker and flowmaster sticker under the hood. I'm wondering if I have anything else hidden waiting to be found.

I think I have stock gears because I shift into 4th at ~100, exhaust manifolds are stock (LTs coming shortly), I think I have the stock shifter, and suspension is stock.

I want to go dyno it now.

That's just dumb.....

Anyway, in my opinion the 78mm would be fine since you will be adding mods down the road like cams and LT's. But if you already have an aftermarket setup then just stick with what you got, you wont see anything worth the money. And everyone says stay with 70mm when N/A, but a 75mm will perform just the same, and if you plan on extensive mods later, then why upgrade twice.

My car felt a lot stronger down low when I added the 75mm TB and plenum.

how is that dumb?

it makes sense if you think about it. i dont agree with the .2-.3 tenths but i still think it may hurt your performance. i almost bought it and spent hours researching it...then decided to go with a pp 75mm tb and accufab plenum

Its not dumb it makes perfect sense that you will loose that much power because you're not pushing much air in quickly. If you cammed it yeah thatd be a good combo but still kinda pushingit.

I use a Professional products 75mm TB/plenum, and so far it has worked great. I bought it 2 years ago for 215 lol.

I would love to try this combo out.
