Default How do gears make you loose power?
Hey ive heard a few of you guys saying that getting gears like 4.10s will make you loose power, how does that happen? and if they do how much is it like a few rwhp? just curious

I knew as soon as I saw that in a thread the other day people would start saying 3.73's are better than 4.10/4.30's because you lose HP.

You'll dyno a HP or two less, if that. The gains will far exceed the losses, by leaps and bounds.

you dont lose enough top end to notice anything, i dont regret getting 3.73's but i am definitly curious about 4.10's haha.
