Shifting at 4k from 1st-2nd.. wth??
For some odd reason, my car seems to be shifting early (at 4k rpm from 1st to 2nd).
I have a Predator tuner and its performance tune loaded up, and I just modified the parameter (shift points) to see if that would fix it. Apparently it was already at 5500 rpm, which I know is more than is necessary... regardless, I put it up to 5600. Nothing happened. It still shifts at about 4000, which blows. Btw, it's probably needless to say that it's an auto.
Getting grip throughout first gear is a problem for me, but that's something else all together, and I know how to take of that once I get the money.
Thanks guys

wow....when used my ptuner, i had the opposite problem.....no matter how low i put the shift point...5000 for example, it would hit the rev limiter before it would shift.....
well i lowered the shift pressure and now it shifts fine (well if u call burning em midway thru 2nd shifting fine), im not sure that lowering or raising it would help ur cause, but its worth a try

tried putting it up real far (it was at "stock pressure" before.. but I have a shift kit now, don't know how much changing the shift pressure will help)
Didn't change anything.. but thanks for the suggestion man, it was worth a try
