Default Seat belt loops....?

This may be a stupid question because i have not actualy tried it yet.... But you know those annoying seat belt 'holders' on the sides of the headrest?

Well i never use them and i think they are ugly and i finally want them gone....

Does anyone know how to remove them?

4 screws, or maybe 6.

Mine are gone, and even when they were there, the stupid belt kept coming out

I took mine out the first day I had my car. I can't stand those damn things.

Mine had 4 screws. It will be near impossible to get a real screwdriver in there so I just found a screwdriver bit and some pliers to spin the screws out. You can take the headrests off, but they are a pain to get out.

How do you do it? I was thinking just pull up and unscrew? Is it that simple?

that'd explain why the allen wrench kept slipping off
