damn. can you let someone start the car and you get under the hood and try to track it down that way? seems to me that something is loose, Hard for me to believe it's the internals.

my vehicle is having a similar problem..

I am getting a ping, tick, tick type sound, its fairly loud.. during rev up or down and in neutral.

..I was told I have a blown left high flow cat attached to my x-pipe.

So I am trying to figure out if the blow cat is causing my knock sound?


Maybe you have a blow cat too? or some kind of exhaust related issue?

sounds like my car. probably carbon build up.
