TIMING CHAIN & TENSIONERS WITH 90K

is 90k a lot of miles for the timing chains and tensioners in a 98 gt, wondering if i should replace them while i have the motor out, but cant really afford the money rite now, if i could get the parts for about 100 bucks i could do it, but then you gotta worry if the parts your gettin for that cheap are gonna last, damn, im stuck

Replace them. To buy parts it cost about $160. Just do it, or you'll end up being sorry. Pay me now or pay me later..

I did it at 92K when the motor was out, it's worth digging the cash up to do

man, i really dont have the cash, im trying to get by on what i have as for as the parts that came off the motor, i might be able to change the tensioners, guess its time to get the ski mask and pistol..! lol
