right now im installing the UPR CAI and there is an extra hole on it. I have a 2002 Mustang Gt........ what the hell...... this will mess up air flow................what do i do?

 

Maybe NOS related? Dont know, find something to plug it, or if you have no plans for NOS shave it off and find something to fill the space.

 

I just installed a mac short shot intake and thought the same thing but then i looked under the C.A.I and found a hose that hooks up to it. it might be that. Where is the hole at top, bottom?

shoul dbe 2 holes possibly a third, the two holes, (when looking at it when installed) one hole is on the left one on the right. the one on the right is for hose conneted to your plenum, th eone on the left houses an iar flow sensor. Your possible 3rd hole should be located closre to the TB and is for a NOS port. if it is already drilled and open, get yourself a bole5t and some silicone and fill it up.... IF you had bought the C&L Trueflow INlet pipe, it would just have a spot for you to drill a port for NOS applications....

 

it is a third hole, i just pluged it because the stock cai did not hav this hole

 

it is as they said above it is a N20 bung just cap it off

 

LMAO - I have the same CAI and the same extra hole on the passenger side.

They use the same CAI for ALL 4.6 mustangs. You can just plug it with something that will not get sucked into the engine. I just cut a bolt and put it in there and it is great.

 

Mine had the hole..it is for Nitrous application....BBK came with a rubber grommet to put in the hole...fit perfect...check to see if there is a black rubber grommet in the box somewhere...could be the same as mine..
