do you know that for sure or are you guessing? i dont want to rebuild it if its fine, but i dont want to get the car put together then go to fire it up and it not run, adding another week to my downtime

He's correct theres no way to tell unless you run it or an expert at carbs. pics wouldnt make a difference cause what we would actually need to see you would never be able to see clear enough in a picture. Are you trying to sell it or what??

No I'm not guessing, who knows it may be perfectly fine, but if you are unsure about it the only way you will tell is if you know a lot about them (ie. can take it apart and see if there is something wrong) or put it in the car and notice it's not running correctly. I don't know if they have anything at a garage they could look at it with, I know they can find out if fuel injectors are flowing correctly, but I don't know how they'd determine if a carb. is working correctly.

Just rebuild it. It is actually pretty easy to do. The Holley rebuild kit comes with good instructions just take your time and pay attention to what you take out and match it with the same part that came with the kit. The reason it a good idea to rebuild becasue there are gaskets and diaphragms that probably have dried out from setting.
