i have a 01 gt. it has been sitting for 9 months, and when i went to start it last night it ran for about 5 sec. it sounded fine then shut off. today i check for fuel pressure and had none. i checked the fuel pump fuse and it is good. the fuel pump is not kicking on. the fuel cut off switch in the truck is not triped. if you can offer any help it would be appreciated thanks.

Maybe its a fuel pump relay. Hopefully its not your fuel pump.

If your power distribution box is where mine is its under the hood and the fuel pump relay/fuse is #14.

I don't know of anyway to check the pump without taking it out.
I'm sure you have gas in the tank right..?
Disconnect the fuel filter and then try starting the car and see if its pumping.
