Default 5w20 or 5w30 oil?

I got a quick question..

I bought my car wtih about 27k on it and I had the oil changed and had mobil 1 5w20 put in with a mobil 1 filter. Now I am about to reach 30k and I need to go for another oil change. I heard some people use 5w30 and I was wondering which one should I use? and does it matter what kind of filter I use? I hear a lot of people say k&n is the best and others say it doesn't really matter.

Thanks,
Brandon

Ford switched almost everythin from 30 to 20 in like early 01-02

They recommend 20 for your car, which you should stick with.. But you can run 30wt with no detrimental effects...

Some may disagree, but if you're running sythetic why are you changing at 3k miles?

Why not?

If you enjoy taking oil changes out to 7500 then more power to you... I dont trust what any bottle or box says... I change my oil at like 2-3k TOPS
