Default Buying a 2000 GT!! Few Questions

Hey everyone right now I have a 1994 V6 5 speed. . . I really like it but I was wanting to get a newer style mustang like a 2000 and of course faster is better...So a GT would suit me just fine. I have a few questions.

Insurance: What should I expect to pay for insurance. I am 18 with NO TICKETS, or Warnings. And no accidents that were my fault. I have been in 1 accident that wasn't my fault. What should I expect to pay.

Plates: What is the average cost on a 2000 GT plates..

Thanks,

Derrick

Well unfortunately even accidents that aren't your fault go on your insurance. It sucks.

My insurance on my 2000 Gt is a little less than my 2005 V6 was, which I wouldn't have expected.

Expect to pay at least $350 a month, thats about what mine is.

first of all if you sell your car keep the wheels.

yes go with a GT......

insurance depends on the state......but you'll probably pay a lot until you turn 25.

plates also depend on the state......a lot of states base registration cost on the value of the car.

^^^^^^^^most of the time. also the insurance companies consider the mustang GT a high risk vehicle because it's cheap enough for a lot of idiots to buy and wreck.......so it gets a bad name.......

watts you pay 350 a month for insurance??????? JEEBUS CHRISTO!!!!!!!how old(or i should say young)are you? i pay about half that for my 2000GT and my 01 ranger XLT 4X4. combined.

I'm 17, no tickets, and no wrecks. The insurance on my 05 V6 is $425 a month. The GT is $350 since it's only a 2000. That's for full coverage since they aren't payed off. It's not cool to have to pay that much for insurance just because some other people are retards.
