Post P0340 code

I got the camshaft positioning sensor code to come up a while ago and i went ahead and replaced the camshaft sensor. It came back on the next day so i went ahead and replaced the crankshaft positioning sensor to be on the safe side. It is still shooting out the code after resetting them both times. I am out of ideas and it is hard to crank the engine and i noticed i am using more fuel than before. I have heard that it might be the alternator diodes causing this. Any other ideas?

Default Agree...

Had the same issue...after replacing 2 cam sensors I did some research and found info on the alt possibly causing the code. Changed alt and prob solved.

Good luck.
