is MM maximum motorsports? i'm also looking for shocks/struts for autocross and road racing.
jmac- are the h&r ss springs stiff enough? do you think the race springs would be better, and still be streetable?
The H&R's are stiff enough IMO for a street/auto-x car. The race springs may be slightly better but I wanted more of a drop than that. I want to go coil-over in the end though.
would the ss springs be better for coil overs then? i'm thinking that will be the route i take after college.
You don't run normal springs for coil-over. You run coil-over springs. They are designed for the coil-over kit. They are usually included but can be bought seperately if you decide to run different spring rates.
Coil-overs will be better than lowering springs but it depends on how much you want to spend. Check out Maximum Motorsports stuff. You can get an idea of prices on there.
