i'm a little concerned about the size of the new BBK piece, 78mm is huge. On the bench test, most throttle bodies lost airflow after 70, the accufab and C&L being the only exception. The accufab flowed exactly the same regardless of size and the C&L favored the 75mm. From what i saw, 99% of the time, any throttle body over 70mm got a power loss...that being said, i went with the 75mm personally, but i had an accufab plenum. now a 78mm, i'm not too sure about that. I like the way it looks but i don't think i'll recomend it to anyone untill BBK or some other person does a flow test on it to see how well it flows.

Proffessional Porducts T/B and plenum is a really nice setup. I run it on my car and I love it. I havent had a single problem with it and few of my buddys run it on their GTs. UPR sells excellent parts.

I know it flows nice, and there is no way I am losing power, I am superchargered. If your stock then you may at high rpm, but there is usually a trade off for low end hp or tq.

I have a PP t/b and plenum, no issues easy install. I just used a pair of pliers and press the pin in. I had a slight sticking issue but I removed the black plastic piece in the spring and it pretty much went away.

I have the PP TB and plenum as well, slight stickyness at idle at first, year later it gone now, and yeah i had to open the hole up a bit with a drill for the throttle cable too, still a good price for both, friend has accufab version and inside they look the same oh here is a website about it, it's mostly about the intake, but they did dyno with the PP TB an dplentum before the intake http://www.mustang50magazine.com/tec...old/index.html

My TB stuck at idle at first, but after a few days of use the sticking was completely gone, so I wouldnt worry about that. And it took about 30 mins to install the TB/plenum setup.

I bumped into a 2003 Cobra owner a couple of months back..........he said his Dad ahs been building Ford engines for decades and has always said that the only reliable thorttle body was a Ford throttle body.........including of course, Ford Racing. Said to me his Dad has found that all other aftermarket ones can have problems sticking.

When I get around to it, I'll pay a bit extra and get a 70mm Ford Racing throttle body.

I disagree. Reliable is the wrong word. It really comes down to, if you want a sticky throttle body and dont want to spend an arm in a leg to get a accufab, then a pp is a great option. Personally I like brand name products so I wouldn't but the cheap stuff. But thats his choice. I dont think Ford Racing is any better in any way then a accufab piece though. That is probably one of the most studied and tested throttle out there. Its the most expensive for a reason. The BBK throttle I chose because its 3mm bigger and then is no gasket to blow out in between the throttle body and plenum. My power band is in the high rpm so the more air I can feed it up high the more power I will make. I dont believe this some one's dad said this or that crap.
