So after driving the car for a couple of miles the ABS light comes on and then seconds later the traction control turns off. Is this the ABS sensor that has gone bad or could it be something else. Any help is appreciated

I had a similar issue in my 07 GTI. Turned out to be a bad ABS sensor. Have you had any brake work or suspension mods done lately?

no no brake work or anything so im going to go with the sensor

My ABS light came after I did my rear springs and shocks. Nothing seems a miss, any ideas what it could be??

my 2001 GT does the same but not all the time...my ABS light turns on and the traction turns off but then it goes off...im waiting to a good moment so i can scan it with a scanner once the abs light is on....hope its noothing serious because my abs still seems to work
