Exclamation TIRE SQUEAKING NEED HELP QUICK!!!

My front left tire is making a squeaking noise every time i take off SLOW. If i take off at a normal speed the noise is not there. Also, if i am rolling at a slow speed (less than 5 mph) there is a periodic squeak every rotation of the tire. My question is: Can i put/spray anything on the bearing to make this go away? I assume that it is the bearing. The bearing was "replaced" by ford about 6 months and i say "replaced" b/c i doubt they did it.

The reason i need help ASAP is b/c i am trying to sell the car and someone is coming over shortly to take a look at it. PLEASE HELP!!!

My right rear tire did the same. It was a bad brake caliper that wasn't releasing completely and would make a squeak when first starting.

If you want it to be fixed just long enough for a test drive you could try spraying the caliper/rotor with wd40 or brake cleaner. No guarantees, but it's worth a shot.

Brake clean will evaporate, and please dont soak that rotor in WD40, unless you have good insurance..

If it is a hub squeeking again, or caliper, there isnt really anything you can do, besides fix/replace it

No you'll be okay with WD40 on your brakes it won t catch flames. I did it on my mustang before it was fine. Tire isnt squeaking its your rotor. Guaranteed.

I bet that the rotor is slightly warped so it grazes the pad and causes that squeak. Same thing with my T-bird, I replaced the rotors and it was good.

Could be a warped rotor... could be you need new brake pads!! When your pads get low there is a little metal prong that will rub against the rotor making a squeeky noise letting you know you need new pads! Could be your tire is mad at you. The wheel bearings are permanantly packed... meaning there is no access to them... think you got ripped by the stealership!

I think your tire is just mad at you.
