Probably going to be my next mod also. Did you get raped on install cuz $120 seems a little steep for some simple welding?

Lol I just hope you had them weld it on right..

I had mine welded by some random muffler shop. When I had my gears recently installed by a proper performance shop, I asked them if they could check the connectors and welds to see if it was done properly and I found it they mounted it an inch too far back...kinda annoyed at that since I know removing them for a reweld is kinda hard

When I got mine, it seemed like the ride became a little more bumpy, no big deal though. When I had them installed we found that my frame isnt straight anymore, one side is about a 1/4inch off compared to the other, so I am glad i had them installed. I think everybody should do it, if for anything else to keep the car how it was made. I didn't have a lift I could use so I paid a guy to do it for me, he charged 60 bucks and I cant wait to use a lift to reweld them right. He gave me 2 inch long welds here and there, I told him I wanted entire length welds, he said it would be good enough.

By the way you made the right choice getting the MM XL ones, it's one of the best.

I know I'm out of the New Edge realm here but S/F's are an absolute must to enhance power delivery, especially in a car like mine that becomes a virtual pretzel under heavy launch. In my '91 hatch that didn't have them the burnout footprint on the left side wasn't as near dark as a result, you could actually feel the body torsion...
