You don't need to be entire lenght welds. Your guy sounds like he did what he is supposed to do to install them. From all the install pics I've looked at and people I've talked to, your wasting your time and $$$ to weld the entire length, it is NOT needed.

i noticed a small differance by just sticking a small bead on my stock SFCs (i have a vert), at some point ill upgrade to the MM ones which should be even better

I just put a rear subframe on my Chevy S10. I narrowed the rear in order to put wider tires on the truck.

Hey guys went to a secluded spot and did a couple runs. Car most def feels better especailly under full throttle.

That sucks man. A shop over here told me $600 for install. What kind of shop did you get it done at?

What $600.00??????? I would most def call the BBB because they ripped you off big time!!!!!!!!!!! I was there when the guy did everything and it took less than 2 hrs. Man that sh** really pisses me off when people take advantage of other people!

A couple of hours labor is all it will take,$600 is way out of line.Maybe they just flat didn't know what you were talking about.A GOOD reason to use another shop.
The biggest thing is to make sure the car is square all the way around before the welding begins.
The way mine was done was to drive the front end onto ramps and lift the rear to match.Use jackstands under both sides of the axle housing to equally load the frame.
I used the Steeda SFC's just because of less welding needed.
