PCM Reprogrammed? what is this?

Hey guys and gals, i noticed this the first day i had my stang, which was 2 years ago now but never gave it any thought, now i wonder about it. On the air intake of my 96 gt there is a sticker that reads "PCM Reprogrammed #F6ZF-12A650-KE" so im not exactl;y sure what it means but im guessing either something was modded before i bought the car, or something was replaced and they had to flash the computer somehow? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated, heres a pic also if you dont believe me
