Default Clutch adjustment question.

I have a Steeda adjustable clutch cable kit and I recently got a new Spec stage 2 clutch installed and when I first got the new clutch a month ago it was engaging low and hard. Now it is engaging up higher where my old clutch engaged. The dude at the shop where I got the clutch installed said that I would have to either re-adjust it myself or bring it back in.

What is the best way to adjust it? Do I just turn the firewall adjuster like the Steeda add says or is there a specific way to adjust it for better engagement?

Try adjusting it yourself, clockwise low, counterclock high

ok I'll try that. My old clutch only lasted 9k miles and I want this one to last a lot longer.
