Default Clutch Cable/ Transmission Problem

This is an ignorant question. I converted my auto to a 5 speed. On my clutch cable there is a mounting bracket on it, where does that bracket bolt up at on the car? I would like to see a few pics, went to modular depot and the only car they had was a new edge and this bracket wasnt even bolted in place.

My second problem which I hate to say I am an unsatisfied customer, thought there was going to be a 90 day warranty on transmission but there is only 60 days and 30 have gone bye because I havent got the transmission in the car. I thought the trans was supposed to be rebuilt but I misunderstood and its not. I ended up buying parts I shouldnt have had to bought because they sent me a junk transmount, pilot bearing, throw out bearing, and clutch fork. Spent a little over $100 there, and now I am questioning the transmission and they wont swap it out with a new one even though there is a $100 difference between what I got and their new sale price on the new one.

So after my life story who makes a good rebuild kit for under $500 if any. If not cheaper than that who makes one period.

If you believe you have been swindled out of cash, take them to claims court. don't just roll over and take it.

modular depot said they were sending me a new trans mount, pilot bearing, throwout bearing, shift boot. No cash though, I already bought the throw out bearing, and pilot bearing. what good is another 1 to me, thats not money back in my pocket, thats parts I will never use again more than likely. As for the transmission I am skeptical of even installing it because the auto was pita to get out.

check their return policy to see if you are able to Get Credit towards a future purchase. A lot of companies won't refund you the money you paid but give you credit instead. It's a crappy way of doing biz in my opinion, but it's usually the case.

I agree, I am going to talk to MD on wednesday about my speedcal I ordered a month ago, its the ppl in texas's fault why I havent gotten it, but I paid $25 more for it cuz I dont have a credit card and figured it would be easier to get it through them because they order from that place a lot.
