When I press unlock on the key pad from having the doors locked obviously , the passenger door 90% of the time wont unlock and sometimes the driver door also. I have to put the key in the door to unlock it sometimes, when I hit the lock button it works perfectly everytime......strange eh? Got any ideas guys?

 

Yep...
...make work sporatically or unreasonably....
...but the door actuator, lock assembly probably needs replacement...

damn! that is so weird! i was gonna post the same question, except its my driver's side, my passenger door works fine. and how hard is that to repair?

 

yep!! i have an 00 auto gt. and it does the same thing, it will lock the driver door but it wont unlock it.. i gotta get one too soon.

 

not too difficult...
...remove the door trim
Then working inside the door...remove the actuator, lock...
