Hey guys,
My starter went out tonight after being weak for like a year or two lol... I think I shorted it out when I was swapping my mid pipes. Quick question..What size are the starter bolts, 15mm? And do I need to drop the midpipe to get it out and install the new one? Anything else I need to know or should it be a relatively easy direct swap I hope..?
they should be 10's.............yes the top bolt is a M'Fer..........a long 1/4 drive extention with a 10mm swivel socket.........DISCONNECT THE BATT !!!!!!!!!
I used 3/8 drive and about 3 feet of extensions. I had my buddy lay on the ground ( I know I'm a nice guy like that) and he positioned the socket while I turned the bolt.
