Interested in what this might be. I had a vibration today at 65mph, I am thinking it is flat spots on my tires from the car sitting for a while without moving..

Theres a lot of problems that can cause vibrations. I myself have a bent rim which i verified by raising the rear end and watching the rim wobble. The next guy may have a belt broken in his tire, an unbalanced tire, a damaged/unbalanced driveshaft a bad u-joint, cupped tires. For all I know though, I'll replace the bent rim and still have the vibration i'm chasing, which occurs at 70, my tires are balanced, as well as my driveshaft, new u-joints and my rear end is good.

When you say "bent" rim, is that severely bent, like hitting a curb? Reason i ask is because im having bad vibrations at like 45-55mph and i think my front rim is bent on the inside because of what looks like someone tried to pry off the balance weight and it bent the lip of the rim slightly. I was just wandering, do you think this would have anything to do with the vibrations? I dont think its the u-joints, but ill have to check. Oh yeah the tire have been balanced recently, so i know thats not an issue.
