Horsepower Numbers?/Typhoon Intake Manifold
I have a 99 GT with the following mods; Roush cold air intake, Professional products 70mm throttle body and plenum, throttle body spacer, steeda underdrive pulleys, flowmaster catback w/super 40 mufflers and pacesetter o/r x-pipe. Can anyone give me an idea of what kinda numbers i should see on a dyno? Also been looking at getting a professional products typhoon intake manifold, is it worth the money?

Personally I think Long tube Headers are the way to go you can pick up some good power and than a tune to top it all off.
That or Gears, you'll probably notice the gears more, but it wont add any power.
Or you could do what i tell everyone to do and save your money and invest in a supercharger.
Also don't get worked up about dyno numbers, they don't mean anything a dyno is just a tuning device.

Just ordered longtubes! and will probably get gears next pay check. Probably be awhile before i could get a supercharger
And this probably a stupid noobie question but my buddy has an ls1 trans am and keeps wanting me to go to the track with him, i know he'd beat me but would it atleast be close? His is completely stock and his tires are crap. (i do have drag radials on the stang)

w/ drag radials, full bolt-ons, 4.10's and driver mod you may be able to give him a good run.
But I honestly don't know much about drag racing, other than what I hear 2nd hand So take my statement with a grain of salt, I'm more of a road race guy.

Yeah gears are a huge help and like a broken record, FI is the only way to go with these cars if you can afford it.
If his tires are crap and you have d/r's you have chance. Its amazing what difference tires will make.

Any idea what instillation of gears cost? and talked to my friend with the t/a earlier today his best time on the 1/4 is 13.7 (isn't that a little slow for an ls1?). Haven't had a chance to take the stang yet to know what it runs.

Are you auto or 5 speed? With those mods a 5 speed should be able to take him if he has crappy tires. Some suspension work will seal the deal. I run 12.9's with a few bolt ons, shock/struts, and mickey thompson drag radials.
