stang in the shop for TSB
my stang is at the ford dealer for a TSB for the tranny. they are replacing 1-3 gears, and all the syncro's and 2 forks. nice. do i have to break the new parts in or anything? will it feel like a whole new car? anyone that got this done got anything to say? i was there about 3 pm today and talked to the mechanic... he seems like he knows alot about these cars.. hes gonna install my LT's and X pipe for 150 bucks. so im gonna let him do that. good deal for me.

I just got back from the dealer trying to get that tsb looked at on my car, but the only thing is that it does it for the first 15 mins in the morning after i start to drive, after the car is warmed up it will go away for the most part, they told me i need to leave my car for them to "test drive" it in the morning, i have 2 months and 2000 miles left before this tsb is no good to me. The same problem I had. it would only do it cold.
But when they drove it they "claimed" it didn't do it.
After going back every other month for the same issue, Ford realesed the TSB and they finally did something about it.
There is no break in, go ahead and rip it up.....
I have 2 tenths of a mile before my warrenty is up, it needs to break in the garage, if I am going to get anything else.
