Default timing...

What should my ignition timing be advanced to? I run 92 octane and sometimes 93 oct everyone tells me my car most likely had nitrous on it before and they probly didnt reset the timing to what it should be when they took the nitrous of and sold the car. So tommorrow im checking it since it has the steeda timing adjuster and wanna know what it should be set to. And if it isnt set to the right timing how exactly do you change the timing. thnx in advance
