Default new engine

my 99 mustang gt vert has 185000 miles on it so im not sure how much longer the engine will last. when the time comes i want to have a new engine and components picked out so that there is the least amount of down time because its my daily driver and i need a car. my question is what should i go with? i dont want to spend more than $3-4000 on the engine because i think installation will cost about $1000 atleast... so around $5000 total for new engine and install. what would be the best route to take? i do not ever plan on going over 375-400 hp at most if that makes a difference.

any and all options are appreciated

I say if you're not loosing oil, not smoking and if the engines not making weird noises go with the old saying; "If it ain't broke don't fix it"......
