Dang , you picked up 36 HP just in the tune? Being that your car is an auto and not much for mods, that is pretty low isn't it?

 

Hold on let me get this stright.... You have a 03 Gt with 200hp without a tune!!!! I have a 98 GT, without PI heads, cams and intake. And I put down 222 rwhp and 289 ft. lbs of tq. And i dont have many mods, a chip, pulleys, plugs, wires, x-pipe and catback.

 

The gains sound good. Nice to have it tunes especially A/F. The RWHP/RWTQ seems a bit low given your mods. My mods are similar and my RWHP/RWTQ is 254/294. Does the auto make you loose much more on the dyno?

 

typically you can figure an extra 5% drivetrain loss with an automatic. 15% manual and 20% parasitic loss respecitvely

 

damn i have an 01 GT with pretty much the same mods and those #'s are depressing[]

 

DynoJet or Mustang dyno?

 

I've dyno'd on two different Dynojets. Never heard of the others.

 

My 03 auto on a Mustang dyno put down 235 and 270. All I had was flowmasters. I had a hot one.

 

it was a dyno jet. his car wasn't running well at all before the tune. so his numbers are ok, considering he doesn't even have full exhaust yet. headers and a mid pipe will get him above 250.
