old school guy question
i know that on a turbo a blowthrough carb can give its own intercooling effect.
with an 6-71 or 8-71 blower what are the intake cooling charge methods? i assume that the suck through carbs provide quite abit of cooling but what about with higher boost levels? race gas the only answer?
just tossing the idea around for a modular based foxbody coupe with a little old school twist (i like fabrication and being different).
and as a side note, does anybody have a picture of the underside of the edelbrock intake manifold?

CO2!!! i run it on the 3000GT. it cools down the intake, fuel, and intercooler. i am running charge tubes right before the throttle body and right after both turbos and sprays onto the intercooler. its gotten so cold before that ice has tried to develop on the intercooler. my dad used a pryometer to measure the intake temp when the CO2 was activated and it dropped over 40 degrees. most of the companys advertise temps dropping 50+ degrees but i havent tested the car and gotten the temps to drop that much. oh, and it doesnt spray anything into the motor so no worries when tuning. i use the dei Cry02 system wired up to an armed switch and push button instead of a timer or window switch. there is also an attachment to cool down the fuel supply but i dont use it cause i dont like the idea of cooling my gas down to near freezing temps....
If you were gonna stick with a draw thru carb you can spray the fuel right into the turbo and get all the fuel you need plus great intake charge cooling.
I have seen an edelbrock intake and how crapy they are. My buddy had one at his shop that he was porting and it needed 3 hours of work just to get the ports to line up with the gaskets. If you are gonna get it you have to get it reworked.

....so please explain.
