Too much compression for turbo?

Too much compression for turbo?
I need some professional help.. I am building a 4v motor for my 04 gt. It will have a t70 and what I'm hoping is high amounts of boost. The block was bored .020 and I am using a set of CP pistons, stock crank and rods, ARP headstuds, cometic head gaskets, etc.. I did the math the other day and if I use a stock headgasket thickness it will put my motor at 10.2:1 compression. If I run a .040 headgasket it will put it to 9.9:1 compression. I could switch to an air to water intercooler and keep boost levels low and the tune extremely conservative. Has anyone had any experience with boosting a motor of high compression? Any input would be appreciated.

I haven't assembled my motor yet, but I would remind you that for high boost you need a proper gasket, that said your CR will be fine. How much boost are you talking about? Alot depends on how low you can keep IATs... you should be just fine to make alot of power on 93

I was planning on running about 12-16 on pump gas. I might tune it on race gas sometime but I don't see the point cause it will be a street car. I just am trying to find someone who has experience with a setup like this. Does anyone know of a company I can call to get another opinion?

On my stock 2v PI motor on 5 lbs. it made 375/420 to the wheels(with leaking BOV). I was guessing I would make close to 500 on the same spring on a built 4v motor and especially with this high of compression. It is mounted up front in the bumper, right now with air to air intercooler. I was also thinking that with higher compression, I would run lower boost levels to make stupid high power, which is less stress on the motor. I'm not sure what the thickest head gasket I can run is, and i'm not sure which one I should run. Hopefully I can find someone with experience in a turbo setup on a built 4v.

stock rods will break and maybe even the crank. to run that kind of boost you need to be fully forged, not just forged pistons. as far as your head gasket, properly torqued ARP head bolts will hold almost any gasket in place.

I am asking if anyone has had any experience with a setup like this, not if I'm going to blow my turbo to pieces. They are SVT rods out of an 03' cobra which are good for 700+.
