when i asked if it was stock i meant the quadrant.

my fault for not being clear.

as for aftermarket parts, just get the quadrant and firewall adjuster. aftermarket cables are flimsy and break easily. a modified stock cable has worked the best from my past experiences.

I wanted to do that from the start but was told by a friend it wasnt necessary. but in hindsight i knew i was gonna be running it at the track so i should have done it anyway.

it funny that everybody says that but ive had mine on for a year and have beat the sh*t out of it with no problems. i think that eveybody that says that has had a "friend" thats broke one or just heard it and passed it on.
