Using something like PB blaster a few times before trying again helps a lot. Spray it on, drive the car to heat it up, and repeat. My friend did this on a 1978 Bronco with original manifolds and every manifold/cylinder head bolt came out easy.

hehehe.. this isn't my thread, but it still making me feel good. I strugled taking that thing off too, but not from the usual suspect. the lower passenger bolt came off no prob. A li'l stripped but nothing serious. My bad guy was the easiest of them all; the lower driver side bolt. Minimum patience led to a busted off bolt. I eventually ended up drilling it through and using a grade 8 nut and bolt to put it back together.

Patience x2, don't let it get the best of you, it will come out.

+10 on the pb cycleing, blast and heat, blast and heat...

WD-40 + 24" breaker bar + mallet should do the trick.
