lizzyfan, are you saying remove the sway bar for weight purposes? or will this help me out in a different way as well?

Im thinking the weight transfer would be a better benefit than the 15-20 lbs...

without a front sway bar the front end will lift and transfer more weight to the back

A set of drag struts would maximize this

R/T .363
60' 2.237---->Drag radial and launching harder you could get this to a 1.8...maybe
330' 6.265
1/8 9.475
MPH 77.03
1000' 12.223
1/4 14.568
MPH 95.84

A set of gears would help you a lot, your car has a lot of potential still left in it. You have to just set it up a little better.

I'm going to gut the trunk pretty soon, loose that big *** system for a few weeks and make a few runs like that. I'm guessing its like 200lbs back there, I'm just afraid with that much less weight over the back tires I'm going to have that much harder of a time getting traction.

I'm running 275/40/17's in the back, Fuzion Zri. Should I lower the pressure at all? As of now I've been leaving them alone.

I have 315/30/18 and run 20 psi at the track. For every .1 off your 60' is .2 of your 1/4 mile time. If you can run a 1.8 60' you can run 13.7 with the subs in. Get new sticky tires and stop spinning then you will have great results.
