Question transmission help!

i have a 99 mustang gt. my automatic transmission broke last week. it wont shift out of second gear and makes a bad squealing noise, kind of like a nasty supercharger would sound like then it just drops into nutral on its own. a buddy of mine said that was a typical mustang shot transmission sign. anybody ever had a simular problem? i need a step by step write up on how to get the transmission out. if anyone could help get back to me.

thnaks, frank

start with unhooking the o2 sensors, removing the h pipe, the drive shaft, trans linkage. then remove the bellhousing plate and unbolt the torque converter from the flex plate then un bolt the trans from the engine block. dont forget to plug the back of the trans where the driveshaft goes in or it will leak trans fluid everywhere.
