That car will need A LOT of work to be usable. I'd say somewhere on the order of $4000 + 50+ hours of labor to get the thing in nice condition. You'd be better off just buying a used Cobra for $6000 and not dealing with all the headache unless you really want to take on a project (you could get really custom with it if you wanted to use this has a starting point).

just IMHO...

save your money, and go buy a real cobra, if thats what your looking for. it even says in the description that the 4v motor was replaced with a 2v ("The DOHC 4.6 cobra motor was replaced with an SOHC 4.6 gt motor").

Yur better off either buying a good condition 2v new edge GT or spending a little more for a 1999/2001 cobra

why would you even consider that car? instead of putting the spare tire on the back, they took the caliper off and put it in the trunk lmao

I was just looking. Its like 5 miles from my house, its nice in person, He been emailing me, The windshield is toast cause the old hood flew up and broke it. So thats why it has cowl. I know its the GT motor which bugs me cause ill be payin Cobra Insurance in a GT car pretty much. I was just lookin, He said $600-$1000 to get it back to running (Including Tranny)

I wouldn't pay $50 for that car. It will cost alot to get it back to original and running right.

lol it looks like a GT with a Cobra front bumper... GT back bumper, Cowl hood, SOHC motor... WHY WOULD YOU EVER PUT A SOHC IN A COBRA. Can't see the steering wheel to see if it even says cobra, sounds fishy.. i think its a GT with a cobra bumper, probably stolen somewhere along the line.

I was thinkin the same thing, He showed me Pics. It has a GT Rear Bumber, GT Steering wheel But he has the Cobra Hood, Cobra Front Bumber. He bought it cause he fixes up Imports, (traded a Prelude for it) but its just sat. He knows nothin about mustangs, He did a car fax and its a Cobra. He has the carfax report. But it has a GT steering wheel cause it was wrecked. I kind of want it to fix it back up to a cobra. But i figure it will need more than $600 like he says to get it running Cause tranny $300 at junkyard and windshield $200 new and then i still have all the other stuff to buy for it.

Idk why it has GT rear bumper. Yet to ask. He said the guy before him did all the work to it. He has had the car for a month but its just sat, ive seen it sitting there and has yet move.

I dont think imma get it, imma try and find just a regular GT or a Fox. I really wanna GT though to upgrade from the 6er and give it to my GF...
