Default Wideband install

I just bought the LC-1 wideband kit from summit. I have everything installed. I did the heater and clean air calibrations. My guage is reading 22.4 and the logging software is reading 20.8 while the car is off. I have not started it up yet as I clicked the reset calibration button so I think I need to do the clean air calibration again.

I guess my question is shouldnt the guage and the software be reading the same even while the car is off?

Yeah, I think the heater calibration does. Turn the key on for 30 sec's then off for 30 sec's... I think. The clean air calibration you have to either ground the calibration wire for 3 sec's or push the button in. That at least what I saw of the directions.

They say it should read 20.9 after free air cal. Mine reads 20.8, so you are good to go. Make sure you have the O2 hanging in the open air when doing the cal.

The first time you plug in the O2 to the lamba cable and give it 12V, it will do a heater cal. After that, you need to do the free air.

It is a good to do a heater cal every so often, not just the free air.

What gauge are you using with it??

Cool, yeah the PC is reading between 20.8-20.9. I did the clean air with the O2 out of the pipe. I just didnt know if I would have to do it again since I clicked on the reset calibration option in the LM Programmer.

The kit I bought was this:

The instructions that came with the guage say it is an autometer.
