again it depends, for 1000 rwhp probably not because your going to want to run twin 47 to 57's, if you wanted to run twin 67 to 76's it would. I mean you realize that with a true 1000 rwhp full time car, you wont be able to drive it

My project is pretty retardedly powerful (hopefully) and Im shooting to get upper 700-800ish and not full time by any stretch of the imagination... I think you need to ride in a 1000 hp car and decided if you want that.... I can almost guarantee you dont

Well to start answering some of the questions, I will be converting the car over to run on e85 since it is cheaper than 93 and has an octane rating of 105 so i can run more timing and boost. And I do not just want a dyno sheet to show off. I want to have a car that on a relatively safe tune can nail down some pretty stout power numbers north of 700rwhp and then when it comes time to do so, have a tune set for big boost and lay down some serious power for the track. i will have the suspension built for solid 8's anyways so I would like to have the potential to go sub 10 sec quarter. And the spray was just last case scenario. If the car didnt spool quick enough for me, i could just throw a 50 shot on to spool it quicker. And i was leaning towards doing twin turbos with custom turbo headers and running some twin 62's or 66's. I figure that will be enough to make the power that i want to but keep the turbos kinda small for not so slow spool time. I mean when i think about it, i will be able to spin my motor past 7000rpms so there is 4000rpms of boost to play with if i can start spooling them at 3000rpms. and even if its not til 4000rpms, thats still a good amount of rpms to play with. Anything to add about this new info or the original post is very welcome and appreciated.

Damn teej those are sum stout numbers. Id go twin if i were you...just got a feelin one big one will take more time to spool.

But idk if id go crazy like 900 hp! Thats just insane for a vert. But hey its ur car...do as you please haha.

I'd go with the HPperformance twin kit. Other than spooling faster, it's the only kit I've seen with a long tube header design, and the twin setup keeps the turbos and the heat out of the engine bay where most kits are mounting the singles. Just to throw it in though, Ox is planning on mid to low 9s on his setup and people are guessing he's gonna see 750-800hp. With 1000hp, if your suspension can take it you could be mid to low 8s. That's where you get into the "funny car" cage requirements I believe.

Im gonna cage it for 9 seconds because i mean dang, if i get that much power i probably wont be able to drive it into the 8's. lol but i mean i do kinda want the power to say i have it on tap if i need it but more than likely if my car would see that much power, it would be for the hell of it and detune it for street driving. I mean whatever i make i will use at one point or another. But i would not be running 1000rwhp daily. thats just stupid. detune it to like 700rwhp for dd duty.

like i said i would go with a single turbo. i would size the a/r a little big for the build because on the street, a little lag is gonna be your friend if you don't want to blow the tires off the car. and on the track its not gonna matter because you should be spooled nearly the entire pass.

OP, aren't you in high school or something? I hope you realize the amount of money you're gonna be spending on this. My guess is upwards of $50k.

I'm just saying, it's nice to speculate on this kind of stuff, but when I look at your sig of exhaust and a CAI, it's tough to believe you'll follow through on all this. But hey, prove me wrong, I'd like to see it.

Oh, and that kind of power seems like a waste to me on a vert. Just my opinion, though.

^ alot.... at least to most racing folks.

But twin 66's are by no means small. I know I don't know you but it seems like your wanting to buy a time slip... and unfortunately it doesnt work that way, I mean to so extent it does, you can buy a 10 sec easy, but 9's and 8's are whole different world. I dont even want to ride in an 8 sec car, do you have experience with anything that fast. I realize that we all like to blow smoke to some extent, but even BS should have its' limits.
