What will subframe connectors do for me other than add weight?

Do Cobras', Mach Ones', and Cobra Rs' have subframe connectors? If not then why do I need them just for some weekend fun? I mean the car is not a daily driver.

Hey man I love my subframes.... Car rides alot better. When I get on it the car takes off the car is alot more rigid. Just 273 HP for a New Edge that says alot....Getting dynoed on 13 Feb hoping for at least 285.

You're the man!!!!! How much did it cost (materials)? Do you have the weld in or bolt on?

cost i think 16 bux in steel, i had the stock bolt ins, so i just cut the box steel longer than the stock ones and bent them to their dimensions, used some extra steel i had layin around for the seat brackets and then welded them in.

ya connectors will help but make sure you weld them in with ur car flat on its tires not jacked up by the frame otherwise the unibody will not be lined up to spec and will sit funny (the problem u have when u open a car door while the front or rear is jacked up)

if STB doesnt help ur car at all then why does almost every high performance car designed for superior handling have them?

I have always thought about a STB like putting a lid on a box and how it would make a more solid structure and wouldnt be as weak or likely to bend or flex.

thats a pic of some with jacking rails, basically it places a bar against the pinch welds and makes it better to jack there for convenience or you can get ones without these and you can jack anywhere on the connectors just hard to get a jack low enough
