Default cobra gauges

will the cobra gauge cluster fit in a mustang gt? ive heard both yes and no which one is it haha

Yes, but it will have to be recalibrated to disable PATS. This can be done for you at the Ford dealership and people say it usually runs around $100.

i have a sct tuner so shouldnt be a problem but it will work? one guy keeps tellin me the cobra ecu and gt ecu are diff so they wont work

Needs to be brought to Ford and recalibrated, then they should work fine.

why do you need to disable pats, because of the 160MPH or just so the car will start? If its just so the car will start just swap out the cluster chips, that way u retain vehicle mileage and you keep your security.

Even if you have a tuner, they need to be recalibrated, which cannot be done with an SCT tuner.

Apparently, PATS can be disabled with a tuner, but there are other reasons, beyond my knowledge that the cobra gauges need to be recalibrated by Ford to work in the GT.
I saw a thread about this a while back and it explained it but I can't find it now.

yea i can do it with my sniper.. i was just curious about why it needs to be recalibrated. i have an auto mach 1 cluster and i just swapped out the cluster chips to make it work.
