Default Can you guys help?

Okay, So I have a Mustang GT with 52,000 miles on the car, and 5,000 miles on the engine. The Engine is bone stock from ford and I want to set up some forced induction without having to change much about the car.

Can I buy a Supercharger and run 9lbs for $1,500?

Hey man I am also getting ready to buy a S/C (once I return from the sandbox).. Called S/C's for less today and will be going with a Procharger (8psi) at a cost of $4095. Install including tune will be right at a round a 1000 bucks. What kind are you going with and have you found one cheaper than the price I posted?

I think the only way to get a S/C for around that price is to do this

Soldier how are you getting a tune and install on a procharger for a grand...Is it a performance shop, did they quote you that, did you add in the fuel pump, injectors, and maf? Just wondering because it cost me about twice that.

1500's an awesome price if it gives you everything you need.

Just make sure you do upgrade you Maf to a 90mm or better. Injectors at a minimum should be 42's. (I went with 60's to be safe for future upgrades)

9lbs is good and should net you in the 380-400 range if you have good custom tune. And also, just because the S/C made 9lbs on one car doesn't necessarily mean that's what it's going to make with your car. could be 8lbs, could 10lbs. What S/C and what size pulley?

*My story:
I wish I would have built my engine first. After your used to having power, when your car breaks, all you want to do is have EVERYTHING right now. (usually faster than your pocketbook) I went from 180rw to 260 to 436 to 550 and all I want is MORE POWA! be careful.

editon't forget about the Fuel Pump... DOn't waist your time witht he Focus pump. Either go with dual Cobras (about 500) or invest early in the future with a High dollar fuel kit.
